Our Clinical Director:  Todd Bingham, LMFT (MFC 38630) has been working in the field of Domestic Violence since 1996, and has interviewed/assessed over 10,000 offenders and has run more than 5,000 psycho-educational groups.  He presents with an eclectic view that also embraces Dr. Glasser's Reality Therapy (all behavior is a choice - an attempt to get our basic needs met).  Our behavior may be Responsible or Irresponsible.  Irresponsible behavior represents getting our needs met through violating the rights of others.  Domestic Violence is a choice.  Mr. Bingham's counseling style is interactive, emotionally supportive, solution-focused, and focuses on helping people take personal responsibility for the choices as well as helping them make healthier choices to improve their relationships and in general the quality of their lives.  With compassion and understanding, he helps individuals and couples find resolution to a wide range of interpersonal relationship concerns and psychological issues.  Todd Bingham is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and group counseling with a core focus on perpetrator and victim issues of domestic violence and other violent crimes, and maintains a private practice in Fresno, California. 

Our Operations Manager:  Theresa Ramos CPC, CART, CHMT has completed extensive research in the field of Domestic Violence. Ms. Ramos is a Certified Professional Coach who motivates clients to create changes towards a more harmonious, productive and positive lifestyle.   She also has a thorough working knowledge in the herbal, vitamin, and alternative health care field.  Additionally she is certified as a Holistic Massage Therapist.  Theresa Ramos is an interactive, solution-focused group facilitator. Her counseling approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and move closer to attaining their goals.

In addition,  Mr. Bingham, LMFT and Ms. Ramos, CPC have presented at Continuing Education seminars speaking on the topics of Domestic Violence, Advanced Facilitator Skills, Evidence Based Interventions, and Victim's issues. 

They have presented the entire 40-hour Batterer's Intervention training 6 times

Mr. Bingham, LMFT and Ms. Ramos, CPC were the 1st to create a true Repeat Offender BI program and the 1st true Child Abuse Intervention Program for Fresno, Kings, and Tulare County.  Also, he and Ms. Ramos created the Phoenix Program (a 26 week version of the 52 week Batterer's Intervention Program).  This program is approved through Fresno County DSS.
